Rhino

A lazy blip today, for good reasons. This is a lovely wooden sculpture of a rhinoceros that I bought in Moshi, Tanzania, on my way back from climbing Mount Kilimanjaro a few years ago. It's about 18cm tall and 24cm long, and heavy. I visited an Asian workshop where these and other ornaments are made and brought this back as a memento. Sadly (or perhaps fortunately, since we were on foot) I didn't see a real live rhino!
