Sculpture and Archives

A quick photo from my lunchtime walk through town.
The picture shows a sculpture by Börje Lindberg, created in bronze in the mid 60's. It's called "Varandras spegel" which means "Each other's mirror". Don't ask me for a deeper explanation.
Behind it you can see the "Archive building".  This building houses the local and county archives and is also a branch of the National archives. Our university carries out archive research and has advanced courses in archives. This subject used to be considered dull and dry (by non-archivists anyway).  In these digital times it has become a really "hot" subject partly because so many of the old documents are now available in digital format and partly because there is just so much digital material around to archive (such as Blipfoto)!
As you see, the sunny autumn weather continues.
