'Twas a dark and stormy night...

After a few days of autumnal glory with blue skies, bright leaves, ice and frost the weather has now changed.  The rain is beating against the window as we sit here and eat our dinner.
Our house is backed up to forest so on this side there are no streetlights or other houses to illuminate the darkness.
The picture shows twin images in the double glazing, reflected from the black windows and the streaks of rain. The light in the picture comes from a mixture of gentle electric and candlelight.
It feels cosy to be inside on a night like this. I'm glad I've got a home to go to!
