Amazon Warrior

She was waiting for me, this Carved Wood Bust, at a Local Pet Rescue Organization Yard Sale. On our way to the Dog Park we were...I usually steer clear of Yard Sales but this one called me over.

There She was, just another piece of Flotsam, finding Herself offered to the Casual Searcher. Weighing in at Three Pounds She is no Lightweight and has a Stern Countenance. She is adorned with a carved neck piece and wears nothing else. She reminds me of a Strong Warrior Woman of the Amazon River Region.

When I inquired as to Her Price I was told that one half dollar would pay for the privilege of taking Her home. She rests in a Very Honored Place and watches over me as I sleep.
