New Niece Day

At 2:12pm my lovely little baby niece, Emily, was brought into the world. 6lbs 11ozs, happy and hungry. I am so pleased for modern technology. Before work I missed a skype call from my nephew and after work I got to see my sister and new niece in the hospital.

2 years ago I was working on a baby blanket for my nephew who was due to be born before Christmas. Now I'm working on a similar one for little Emily. I need to use a ball of wool a week to finish it before Christmas!
