Friday Night Clean

When I finished my work today, I decided to give the house a long over-due Friday night clean. My m used to do this weekly when we were growing up & I think it probably helped her face the weekend surrounded by a lovely clean house.
I think perhaps this might be part of my weekend frustration.
This week I've been surrounded by annoyances in the house- dig chewed up items, washing, dirty dishes, dust, untidiness & just general crap like that.
A 3-4 hour whip around the house rectifying all this has actually set me in a good frame of mind.
Now after a nice hot shower in my refreshed bathroom, pjs on, I sit down with 2 new magazines that I have had in my possession for the past week & not yet opened.
