Feathered
This morning I thought to get my run out of the way early, but this mostly proved to get me saturated. The weather being fairly miserable today was a little extra miserable during my run and I was fairly quickly soaked. Nevertheless I finished the run, and then had the whole day ahead of me.
After doing some chores out and about, I got into some tracky pants and an oversized jumper and committed to spending the rest of the day indoors...I was succesful. I worked more on my secret project, did some jobs around the house and read a fair chunk of a novel by the name of Horns. It was great to be reading. With everything else going on and all the other projects I've given myself, reading got put to the side. The only books I've read recently have been various books on screenwriting, and while it's good to learn, it's not really the same as a novel. Therefore it was incredibly enjoyable to climb into a chair and get lost in someone else's words and world.
One thing I didn't do was go on a blip hunt, which left me late in the afternoon without a blip. Luckily for me a have a budgie by the name of Sherlock who's feathers I borrowed for today's blip. I took a whole lot of macro shots of a few feathers and then edited the one above to bring out that colour. It may also interest you to know that the feather in the photo is about the size of half of my pinky finger!
