Hammersmith Bridge

Once upon a time in a different lifetime, when I was still LoobyC not LoobyG, Mr G and I spent a happy year living in a flat in Hammersmith. Had the landlord not been so reluctant to deal with the rodent problem, we may well have spent longer than a year there, before moving north along the commuter line. Who knows how life might have turned out...

On Saturday I went back into the city to visit the Languages Show at Olympia. After an inspiring hour or so picking brains and picking up leaflets, I retreated to one of our old favourite pubs by the river in Hammersmith for a steak sandwich, a cheeky half and some time trying to sort out my ideas about What I Want To Do When I Grow Up... Not sure I'm there yet, but the cogs are starting to turn.
