Balancing things up a little...

Another tired and tiring week. We were supposed to go and visit my brother-in-law and nephew at the weekend, but neither Littler G nor I were really feeling well enough. So we had a quiet one at home for a change.

It seemed to do the trick - by Sunday we were feeling bright enough to go out to one of our favourite local nature parks, where Little G went for a 30 minute bike ride while his daddy jogged alongside and Littler G and I played in the lakeside play area. Lovely lovely.

It was also a day sunny and windy enough to get two loads of washing dry while I cooked a roast dinner and made bread. Sometimes the simplest things are just the best.
