Giraffes and Lions

Dogged work and school for a wonderful day out in Edinburgh. Went for a lovely lunch and then to the theatre to see the Lion King. What a glorious visual spectacle for eyes and aural experience for the ears. The opening sequence when Simba is presented to the hordes of animals on the savannah was gobsmacking, even had a wee tear in my eye as it was so emotional. The costumes are amazing and so well thought out.

It's an experience that will live in the memory for a long, long time. I hope the same for daughter number 1!
