Leaf it alone

Am getting slightly obsessed with the tree colours around Woking at the moment. Proving more of a challenge than I thought catching the colours - it's not south just the colours but the feel of the light and the way it catches the trees that makes it so special. This is not a great example but moving in the right direction - have been used to nipping the contrast up slightly to get a bit of guts into the colour but went the other way on this and it more accurately represents the feel if the light. After a stormy and windy start this was taken during a quick break in the clouds at Wych Hill - skies were changing so rapidly that there was only a few seconds to catch the light before it's gone again. It's the scale of the trees that I think is really hard to capture.
