Surprise, surprise!!

I had not expected this late burst of colour from the hedge given all the russets, browns and yellows that abound just now. I had intended blipping a notice that had been attached to the lamp-posts in the street. These informed us that there would be no parking in the street between 7.00am and 7.00pm today and tomorrow.

So there I was up at just after 7am moving the car and you know what- the road menders never appeared and now the notices are down. This is the second time in a month that this has happened!!! GRR!!!

The funny thing is I used to get up at 6.45 every morning without it being a problem. Now...
