There were a lot of people like us making the most of the lovely weather.
Sun and 16c. Perfect!
The golden sunlight really lit up the trees autumn colours.
The shot I have chosen is more green then golden, but I just loved the reflections.

We were so lucky to be able to walk round and enjoy it .



MrC would like to say a big thank you for all your kind birthday wishes yesterday.
We enjoyed our meal last night. but the place lacked a bit of atmosphere as there were only the two of us and one other couple. Which was a shame, as the food was very good. Especially MrC's venison. I expect they do better at the weekend.

Birthday continues tomorrow with a invitation to dinner with friends!
