delicate balance

So many things about this image amaze me.
First, can you imagine hanging upside down by your toes?
On a dangling pine cone?
And then, yanking something out of the dangling object that you are dangling from?
What a feat of avian engineering!
Yet I doubt this pygmy nuthatch is amazed at all.
