has commenced. The builders arrived at 7.15am, made them a brew, then went off to golf.

When we arrived home at 2ish, the first load of concrete had been delivered and the had done the top part of the patio and the area outside the bedroom.

The garden looks as though a bomb has ben dropped on it. They spread the concrete, let it almost dry them throw the first coat of coloured powder on in, then they spread that in, leave it for a little while, then throw the top colour on. So powder is going all over the place. Then they get the rubber imprints and make the pattern.

I'm not even thinking about doing any cleaning in the house, it can wait until next week, when they have finished.

My partner and I came 2nd in the golf today, it was a 'pairs' comp, we had a combined score of 45 points, which is usually enough to win, however, the winners had 47 points, so that's twice I've come 2nd in major comps this year.
