Day 2

Builders arrived at 7.30am, concrete lorry arrived at 7.45am. The boys worked like trojans, they off loaded and barrowed in the concrete for the main part of the patio, had it all done in less than an hour.

Then they went for breakfast whilst the concrete dried off. Roy and I went out, as there was nothing we could do.

We went to Ikea and bought a new coffee table, when we arrived home the guys were doing the throwing of the colours on to the concrete, so we went inside, shut the doors and assembled the coffee table.

I wish Roy would read instructions before he started putting things together, it took me twenty minutes to undo his work and fit the right screws and dowels into the holes.
