Aperture on Life

Autumn

The heavy rains that have drenched us over the past couple of days, and the winds that came with them, have left a thick new carpet of leaves. I took the dogs up onto the Downs for a walk this evening. It was late and I was loosing light fast but the last rays were attempting to light the woods. The leaves have turned very suddenly and it's truly autumn now.

I had planned to do one of my stock up shops at the Italian shop, Cippullo's, in Woking. Helen and I did go, but rushed it as I had to meet an ambulance returning R. to his home around midday. I managed to collect enough in the little time I had to run up a till count of £60. I only go to buy pasta but who could resist prosciutto cut from the bone, delicious cheeses and ....in a rush I probably didn't buy half what I 'needed' but have saved my pocket.

Unfortunately the rush was for nothing. The hospital didn't release R. as he still has symptoms of pneumonia.

I've just back blipped yesterday... go see my new field. :)
