Happy Birthday

Mr. Apple hates to have his birthday celebrated. If he had his way, everyone wouldn't even mention it and the day would just pass by unnoticed. In recent years, I figure if that's what he wants, then what better to give him for his big day? Give him what he wants! Which is nothing, of course. In 2005 my mom made fourth of July/birthday cupcakes. In 2006, he got a self-portrait-style blip in Montana. In 2007 his big celebration was to get to pick my blip for the day, no questions asked. In 2008 I wasn't home and I don't even know if I remembered it. In 2009 he got his blip taken.
