Tarbert

Very wet morning so we decided to watch The Maggie which we have on DVD and wait and see if the weather would improve.
By lunchtime we had made up our minds to have lunch at the Kilmartin Museum cafe and head south towards Tarbert as the weather was clearing from the south.
True enough the weather did seem to be clearing and we went through Tarbert and on to Tayinloan where last year we got the ferry for Gigha.
We then headed back to Tarbert and had a walk out to the pier where the paddle steamers used to call.
We had a lovely time watching the ferry sail out towards Portavadie and watched the boats coming into the harbour.
We go home tomorrow and have to leave behind the lovely sights and scenery of Argyll :-(
