Great Gas

I guess it's the same with most children: when learning to speak, the first case is the Possessive:"MY balloon!" And one of the first dilemmas is how to keep hold of it and (at least as much fun) release it so that it floats up and bumps against the high ceiling. So we discovered another important use for my mother's 'grip-stick', a hollow, aluminium stick with a big trigger/lever which can open and close a large pincer at the other end, the kind of thing Daleks used to come equipped with. Every house should have one.
