Waiting in the wings

Phew! We have done it again! performed live on stage and this time in the prestigious venue of the Macrobert arts centre.

We are a very large mixed group – over 60- ranging in age from tiny tots to women in their 80s.

How the choreographer, Natasha Gilmore, of Barrowland Ballet brought us all together is a remarkable achievement.

And we had a vey enthusiastic audience. Earlier fears that they would be cold even a bit critical dissipated as we listened to the enthusiastic applause greeting each act.

Imagine our surprise as we waited in the dressing room to be called to hear the whooping, clapping, whistles and genuine delight coming from an audience as they watched the acts before us.
