I'm watching the shadows, Mommy x

We just stayed at home today and Eva had her usual naps and playtime.

At dinner time, she kept peering over the edge of her highchair at the shadows on the floor, it was very comical. She was determined to feed herself aswell. I was spoon feeding her her mashed up dinner, but made with chunkier bits, and any bigger chunks that fell onto the highchair tray, she was using her pincer grip to pick the bits up, and put them into her mouth herself. So cute.

I've been meaning to mention about when I'm feeding Eva, what she does. She runs her fingers over me, kind of like stroking me, as she's so content and enjoying her milk. It's such a lovely feeling. I'm so glad I breastfed Eva, and that I persevered in the early days when my milk just wouldn't come in. It is such an amazing, indescribable feeling of closeness with my baby girl and I'm really going to miss it when I stop. Xxx
