More rugby, I'm afraid and still not very good

Watched another match and another referee today and have another report to write on his performance. What can I say? It was a one sided match which he decided to finish early as the visitors were on the wrong side of a 59-3 scoreline. His biggest challenge was maintaining concentration and interest in such a one sided affair which was played in attrocious weather. I'm glad he called time early as it was draughty up on the balcony and I'd had enough too.

As you can see there was more than the proverbial one man and his dog watching this match. There were rather more spectators up on the balcony. They spent their time with pints and chips. Probably anaesthetising themselves against the cold and the match.

But it was a good evening to come home to. Venison casserole doing its stuff in the slow cooker and an extra hour today as the clocks go back tonight.

Went down to the allotment this morning in anticipation of helping in some way to erect some more sheds. But it had been decided not to put any more sheds up in view of the impending Armageddon which is due to overnight tomorrow. So I spent an hour or so chatting and avoiding drinking caffeinated tea with sour milk.

We might find the sheds that are already up strewn across the allotment by first light on Monday.

Blip 299, tomorrow the 300th!
