Red Alert!

With everyone expecting a CI storm, the worst since the hurricane we had in 1987, many were out and about to see what all the fuss is about. Many a surfer & windsurfer were making the most of the effects of the gale force winds and this windsurfer looked like he/she was loving taking off in the air before crashing back down into another wave.
This was at lunchtime today, while my nephew and I were out exploring, which helped us with his Geography revision on coastal defences.
It wasn't too rough at this time but I'm looking forward to seeing what others captured later on in the day.
The rest of my day has been spent with my family, all cosy at my parents' house, being fed the best roast dinner in the world, as usual, and playing a great game of the Guernsey version of Monopoly... Of which I ended up monopolising by building up an empire of hotels all over the island... "Pay me...."
