Eric @ the Book Barn

Today on a slight diversion home from Bristol we visited the BookBarn International.

After a restful post-convention night's sleep with chez Meg and Tim, we set the sat-nav for just outside Bath, to collect our ebay unicycle purchase. It was a wet and windy journey and as our desination approached I was looking forward to heading homewards. Then we saw it! The Bookbarn!

Just west of Bath in Somerset the Bookbarn houses the biggest and most amazing collection of used books in the UK. Adding thousands of titles every week they have millions of books - all costing £1 or less (yes it's like a Waterstones PoundLand!) Graham and I spend a good hour sniffing the books - and were quite reserved with our purchases - I was most pleased with my Bridge to Terebithia - just 50 pence. Bargain!

Eric loved bear-browsing and he's now snuggled upstairs with his furry nose inside a book. Sniffing or reading? Whichever- he's content!

Wonder what Danny's Teddy's been up to!
