Winter Warmth

Spent the morning with all the kids and us the other side of the lens for a change. Great fun, and thanks to Dougthehat, dookie & Cheryl Reynolds, who raised a massive £1,000 for a very worthwhile local cause. Lunch at my parents with an afternoon of games and puzzle making with old classics on the telebox like Calamity Jane and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. Retreated to the lounge with a cup of tea to sit by the fire, snuggle up with Mr Lovely, and warm up. First fire of the autumn/winter, as it's been so mild up to now. Bracing ourselves for the reported storm coming in tonight with predicted winds of 90 miles an hour.
