Leaving Porty People and Places

Taken at Waverley Station at 1355 GMT today. The coated couple looked like a time warp. Tis the irony of sneakyv Blips like this that we end up sharing a table with them on the 1410 to Manchester Airport! They changed at Carlisle and were headed to Chester .

Their place was taken by an elderly couple who seemed to summon all their energy just getting onto the TransPennine train. My face was a picture of disbelief when helping them off the train to discover they were Brisbane bound, non-stop, in the morning to spend the summer there!

That makes our adventure, weather permitting, tomorrow seem very pedestrian. We fly in the morning and my blip trail, will ensue, wifi and landfall permitting. Inevitably there will be some lull in commenting from me, pro tem. I will catch up in time!
