Pigeon Man

A bitter sweet scene. He's a homeless man with a love for pigeons. He is in the same spot every day, feeding the birds, with great care and tenderness, caressing the ones who land on his arms whispering to them.

He is also clearly challenged and quite withdrawn when it comes to human interactions. I put my camera away, after I took that shot from a distance, and tried chatting with him, to no avail.

I wonder what life circumstances brought him to that point...
