About to burst

We had planned to go and visit my nephew in hospital after collecting the Eldest from her sleepover this morning. We got a call to say that he had developed a chest infection and was quite laboured with his breathing. So not to be today. They've done a chest X-ray but they won't get the results of it until tomorrow, due to today being a public holiday.

We've pottered doing jobs around the house today. I made pulled pork for the first time today, and it went down a treat for tea. We had it with some of those part baked bread rolls. Absolutely lush.

Back to the work and school normality tomorrow.
