All these decorations are on sale, part of the celebration of Deepavali
( Diwali or Divali depending on where you live).
It is the Hindu Festival of Lights and Little India is a riot of colour with lights, flowers and decorations. With many stalls burning incense it really is Little India at this time of year. . There are also a crowds, and consequently most of my attempted shots just showed heads and backs of people…as I am not the tallest of people I would need to grow a few inches (or carry a ladder) to improve my chances of a good shot.
