Shenzhen shopping spree....

A wonderful day today, thanks to SweetArt and her amazing bargaining skills! Of course she has MANY amazing skills but this was the one for today!

We met Joanna in the Plaza, exchanged our HK dollars for Chinese RMB and set off for Shenzhen by bus, taxi and train. I had to get a visitors visa to pass the border into China. Then began the shopping!

What a place this is! Five storeys of practically everything under the sun! So much colour and variety too! We came away with reversible cashmere shawls, rose/pink gold dress jewellery, mini speakers, fans, socks and school trip clothes and lots of happy memories. of a very successful trip. My Christmas shopping is well on its way to completion!

We had a wonderful meal of duck, with dim sum to begin and very refreshing pu re tea. Back through immigration and passport control and customs before doing the journey in reverse back to DB.

We are all tired and in bed early but not before I had an extensive iPad lesson from Sandy on how to make a collage quickly and effectively. Wonder Woman indeed and I am very grateful to her for everything today. (We looked after her well I hope and made sure she wore her neck brace.)
