A lady of observation

Earth, wind and no fire!

We have been lucky with the storm that swept across the South and East of our country today. Locally there were some trees down and our railway line was blocked by debris from a nearby tree. We knew there would be a rail issue early on, but there was no train service out of our village at all. The internet site kept crashing and what little information we could get seemed to conflict. Three attempts at catching promised trains resulted in disappointment and finally we had to admit defeat.
One of the neighbours in our close lost thier shed roof and the tree pictured suffered damage. Our rabbitry survived and bunnies appeared to be well. We were concerned about the trees that back onto our garden were threatening, but we were spared. Mister reported a fallen tree blocking Frog End, so he had to go another way to work.
Daughter is editing photos from home that her boss sent her over tbe internet. My job however can't be done remotely so a days pay will be lost.
I count our blessings as some in our country have been affected in some very sad circumstances due to the storm
