by the lake

The weather today was dull and damp but it didn't stop these two children enjoying themselves. I'm not sure if they had intended to run along the jetty and chase the gulls away but that's what happened.

For many children it's half term holiday this week and the area is very busy. I hope the weather improves for them, but as I write this at 4.50pm there are hailstones bouncing off the windowsill!
