on a Lakeland road

Dull and wet. By midday I'd only taken a few leafy photos. Then I followed this bus for 5 miles and it kept stopping to let cars pass (half term week so more traffic than usual). The camera was on the passenger seat so I managed 2 shots when we came to another halt at this corner.

I could have blipped the earlier technically better photos, but this gives a much better impression of how wet and gloomy it was.
