Not a bad start this morning, 6am. I much prefer it to 5am for sure! We lay in bed until half past and then it was up for the usual breakfast routine. I grabbed a shower before Chris went to work and then cleaned up the porridge monster Isaac and got them both dressed. We were supposed to be seeing friends today but plans fell through so we had a quiet morning instead. Amelie and I baked some fairy cakes together, she was very helpful and didn't do any licking until we had finished and I gave her the spoon. At this rate I might let her help again! We played some Mr Men matching pairs, put Isaac in a box for fun, hung up the washing and then we had lunch. Isaac refused a nap all morning so he was exhausted after lunch. Once he had woken we headed out to the park and I took my camera as its been a while since I took it out with me. It was a bit muddy at the park and the buggy wasn't a fan of all the conkers and acorns but we had a good bit of fresh air and they both had fun. We stopped at Boots and Lidl on the way home to get baby wipes and some ingredients we had forgotten for dinner. Its lentil soup and I'm not really sure how that is going to work with baby led weaning to be honest. I'll probably end up helping him with the spoon and he can munch on some crusty bread too... Sure he will enjoy it no matter how it is delivered to his mouth! Amelie will no doubt be having something different...
