Coming in to land ... Make Room!

The bird feeders were mobbed by sparrows this morning with more around than there were places to land! Some of the wiser (?) ones were out of the photo as they were scavenging all the seeds that fell to the ground.

It was impossible to get them all in focus and avoid movement blurr, so I picked this shot as it shows one sparrow coming in to land where there is no real space! The effect was to cause the current incumbent of the perch to fly off to find another spot.

Got flying again this afternoon, and took one of the teenagers from the church up with me as he would quite like to become a pilot in the future. His reaction as we took off and landed was great. Fortunately there was an empty runway in front of us and not the scenario that the sparrow in the morning's photo had!

Its true that in life we can only fit so many things in, and if we get 'full' and want to add more we have to drop something else. Not always easy to decide though is it!
