Let the cleaning commence..

The patio is now ready for cleaning. The top coat of powder has to be jet washed off, unfortunately it is water resistant, so Mike has brushed as much as possible off, then he set too with the karcha. He started at 10am and finished at 5pm, he was knackered.

Roy and I started to clean the inside of the house, it had not been touched for a week, and there was a thick layer of cement dust, and orange powder on all the surfaces.

We went through umpteen buckets of hot soapy water, used rolls of kitchen towel, windows cleaned, furniture polished, floors swept and mopped and some semblance of order started to appear. We gave up at 6pm, showered, change then off out for something to eat.
