DDW's October 2013 Challenge Day 29: Union

Today In the post I received the best thing anyone has ever sent me. From someone who knows me so well. Enough to realise this gesture would mean so much. Much more than an expensive gift, shoes, perfume, chocolates and all that gubbins.

It's things like this that keep our union so strong whilst we are apart. Little things, silly things, thoughtful things. Our union has defied time, distance and changes in our lives. It is a once in a lifetime, forever connection. A connection that could only exist between him and I.

Earlier this week this cake was here. Now it is mostly in my tummy. And it is actually the best cake ever.
