Hurricane Sandy - One Year Later

One year ago tonight, our little town and neighboring areas were devastated by Hurricane Sandy. Today we gathered at the ocean to "Light Up New Jersey." At 6:30 p.m., we all lit flashlights and held them in the air to celebrate our recovery from the storm.

The sandcastle in the photo just won the Guiness Book of World Records entry for tallest sandcastle.

I can't thank you enough for your consoling thoughts yesterday on behalf of Bogan. I am taking your good advice and enjoying each day with him.
