The Pollinator

I chose this image of a Painted Lady because it illustrates perfectly how butterflies pollinate flowers.

If you have a look in large, you can see the stamen plonked perfectly in the middle of this butterfly's forehead, and all those little white dots that she's carrying is pollen. The next flower she goes to will take this pollen off her and thus becomes pollinated and will make seeds that drive me crazy each spring because each and every one of them will set.
