Deerness

I went out to Deerness and along to Mull Head reserve. Normally I go along the cliffs but today cut across toward the Covenanters Memorial, which you can just see in the distance in the shot.

Not many migrant birds- the wind has been strong drom the Sw which will be keeping the migrants far from Orkney. There was a nice male blackcap in the Lighthouse Quarry and a goldcrest. Lots of geese around as well as snipe, sparrowhawk and hen harrier.
