Last Day in Bruges

When we woke up this morning the storm that was hitting the South of England was on the news. I quickly checked Facebook and things back home didn't sound too bad, a few trees were down and blocking a lane into the village, but everything else seemed ok.

We set off to find a cafe for breakfast and it was blowy, but that's all. The morning was spent wandering and then we set off for Calais. I'd received emails from Eurotunnel saying not to arrive early as they were fully booked and ferries were being cancelled. All scaremongering, we arrived four hours early and managed to get an earlier crossing :)

Bruges was gorgeous and we'll definitely be going back.
