The Birds

Apparently, Hitchcock used a true story of an influx of sooty shearwaters in Capitola in 1961 as the basis of his film (actually filmed in Bodega Bay, north of San Francisco).

We've had flocks and flocks of sea birds here for weeks, following the fish, which are also bringing the whales. This doesn't do justice to the numbers at ALL!
