Fall in the Mountains

Fall in the mountains is very fleeting - some years pass from summer to trees with no leaves in a week. If you are lucky enough to hit the timing right, it is breathtaking.

K and C finally got hitched today, horray! An excellent excuse to catch up with people I haven't seen in far too long. P and I got distracted by the stars on the walk from the reception to the after party and watched the sky until our noses were numb. We are both pretty terrible at constellations, so we made up a few. Jack the Pumpkin king is my new favorite constellation.
