Tenerife Diving day 2

Went to 30m today at a dive site called Mushrooms. Strange volcanic rock formations that look like puffballs, and in the right light with a squint mushrooms. Another massive shoal of barracuda and this time I lay on my back looking up through them as the sun played on the silvery blue scales. In the afternoon we went to a site called 'steps' . This is like the giants causeway in Ireland but under water, Again lots of amazing fish life. The highlight for me was finding a huge octopus and then watching it fight/mate ( never sure which with cephalopods) with another octopus. Felt like Jaques Cousteau.
AFter such a lovely dive I was very sad when I took my buoyancy device off to hand it in to the boat and it caught my lovely 12 year old Tag Heuer diving watch which flew off and down into 10m of water. The diving instructor went straight down to look for it but to no avail, Sad.
