....yet another French restaurant today to celebrate the birthing day of Grandmama. Aunty Weez was game and tried one of the wee green bitter gherkin type things served with the entrées......"is it not to your taste madam?" Aunty Fay sent her steak back for some further kitchen heat treatment because it was practically galloping about her plate.....I enjoy mine rarer and considered it cooked to perfection. Very good value at £6.90 for entrées, main course and coffee.

Aunty Weez had made cup cakes as presents.......nice buns Aunty Weez.

Fell asleep in front of the TV last night instead of going to see D9...damn

End of the festival fireworks this evening.....Inverleith instead of Calton Hill this year; I'm getting too old for clinging to a hillside with a bottle of whisky, surrounded by pissed-up tourists.
