Why Bother?

This was my question to the Head Gardener as he spent ages vacuuming up the fallen leaves in the garden, even as more were blowing off the trees behind him:-) It turns out that it wasn't so much the leaves he was worried about, as the thousands of sycamore seeds that had come down with them and would happily root in the grass and the soil given half a chance. So I joined him in the garden and I raked the leaves away and he sucked up the seeds! Good teamwork:-)

I've had confirmation that we now have Unlimited Broadband, so I'll be trying to catch up with all your journals soon:-)
