VIP bus... What?!

Last day in Inle Lake today. Had our last toast with condensed milk... Don't think it will be socially acceptable anywhere else sadly! Got our VIP ticket for a bus to Yangon as Morag isn't feeling well still we splashed out a little bit. We went to a French restaurant that is recommended in the lonely planet. It is probably the nicest place we have been to in Myanmar so far!! We had something to eat there and just relaxed there for a long time until we had to go and grab our bags to go and get our VIP bus. Grab our bags at the hostel, bus took a while before arriving. We then circled around Inle lake picking people up. 1 hour drive to where our big bus was going to be at. Had to wait whilst masses of buses went past until one of them was finally ours. We were so shocked because it was actually VIP!! We got a cup of coffee when we got on. Some free food which when I look back on was disgusting! We even had a plug at the side of the chairs. Stopped off for a break. Morag and I bought a tub of plums to share. We had to quickly eat them all before we got back onto the bus which was quite funny. Classic squat loos again.
