not your average...

...hot fudge sundae.

Took Mum into the city to host a 'thank you' lunch and as chauffeur I got to have lunch too!
Lucious it was, food and company, and my pud was just spectacular.
The sundae comes in a brandy goblet covered with a thin chocolate lid THROUGH which the hot chocolate fudge is poured!....hence the ragged edge of what remains of the lid.
Next time I will have camera poised to blip the sauce melting the lid and cascading through.

All this at The Heritage in the city which does have a curious mix and match menu to cater for those who wander in wanting a sandwich, special, steak and chips or something a bit special : 'Seared scallops, charred marron, pasta fregola, semi-dried tomatoes, rosemary.'
