Calorie Heaven

The never ending rain continues. It was a day for activities around the house, so the wooden spoon and weighing scales were out and the hens eggs were put to good use. This photo is the result.

Three neighbours kids dropped in to see the hens. Childer have a nose for sweet things, they timed it well and were treated to chocolate chip cookies while they watched the hens race around expectantly.

Of course these are country kids, and Adam was not shy to tell me that he prefers chickens when they are dead! Charming...Gerty, Marje and Nora were none too pleased.
